That's the Ross Sea Ice Shelf on the right there. 那就是罗斯海冰架。
So, this huge floating ice shelf the size of Alaska comes from West Antarctica. 所以,这个相当于阿拉斯加大小的 巨型浮冰层 来自于西南极洲。
Now, West Antarctica is the part of the continent where the ice is grounded on sea floor as much as 2,000 meters deep. 西南极洲就是南极洲的一部分, 这部分的冰层着陆在深达2000米 的海床上面。
