Cartoons are basically short stories.	卡通实际上也就是短篇小说。

Actually, I fell in love with the ocean when I was a little boy, when I was about eight or nine.	其实,我还是小孩时就爱上了大海。当我在八,九岁左右。
And I was particularly fascinated with sharks.	我对鲨鱼特别着迷。

What I'm trying to tell readers is that plastic doesn't really go away; it just continues to wash downstream .	我想告诉读者们就是塑料并没有真正的消失; 它只是继续流到下游。
